The house is available for private use all the time.
Casa Galina is a wonderful holiday home situated in the surroundings of a little village called Ciggiano, in the Italian province of Arezzo. Recently, it has been completely renovated; at the first floor, it offers two apartments, whereas the ground floor is uninhabited and unused.
The house offers also a beautiful swimming pool and a marvellous garden, where you can find a large table and a sun awning shielding from the sunshine. So the house could be the ideal solution for two families who want to spend holidays together, but who are looking for some independence and freedom at the same time.
Pets are warmly welcome, we are pet-friendly.
Apartments
The apartments won’t be rent separatley – the price covers the whole house.
It offers space for max. 8 people.
The apartments are offering a beautiful view over the garden surrounding the house and are both new and furnished. Both bedrooms are provided with an air-conditioning unit.
Apartment "Mugellese" for 2-3 individuals
Across outer stairs, you reach the kitchen / dining room provided with a single sofa-bed (about 1,2 m width), the double bedroom, the bathroom with shower.
Apartment "Ovaiola" for 3-5 individuals
Across outer stairs and a small balcony, you reach the living room provided with a fireplace and a double sofa-bed, the kitchen / dining room, the bedroom provided with a French bed (about 1,2 m width), the double bedroom and the bathroom with shower.
Equipment: Fridge-freezer (2), oven (2), safe (2), electric fan (2), dishwasher, washing-machine, clotheshorse, iron and ironing board, satellite TV, Internet Wi-Fi, air-conditioning unit in both bedrooms / dining room, American coffee maker, espresso machine, mosquito nets, microwave, toaster, outer barbecue, outer shower, sunshades, gazebo, deckchairs. At the ground floor, near the swimming pool, there is a washing-machine.
Garden & Pool
The house is completely fenced and enclosed by an electric gate. In the garden, the house guests can take advantage of the swimming pool (6x12 m, depth min 1,2 m and max 1,5 m), the sunshades and a barbecue grill. Under a large gazebo placed near the swimming pool, some tables and comfortable chairs encourage the house guests to have lunch open air and in completely peacefulness. Near the swimming pool there is also a laundry and a toilet for house guests.
The swimming pool is open from 1 april to 30 october.

The deposit is 250 € and must be paid in cash upon arrival.
Casa Galina can be booked all year round - the swimming pool is open from 1 April to 30 October.
Services included in rental price:
Electricity, water, gas, sheets and towels (weekly change), Internet Wi-Fi, air-conditioning unit (lounge area), swimming pool and garden maintenance, swimming pool use from the last weekend of April to the first weekend of October.
Services on demand / cash payment required at arrival:
Heating (5 € / cube meter), additional cleaning (15 €), laundry change (10 € / each), beach towel (3 € / each), firewood (15 € / 100 kg), other special services on demand.
Location
Casa Galina is located in the province of Arezzo in Tuscany. It can be easily reached by car via the A1 motorway (E35).

Neighborhood
If you travel for about 5 km, you reach a village called Monte San Savino, which is one of the centres of the Chiana valley and where you can profit by some shops and restaurants, as well as some interesting cultural events. The village dates back to the Romanian age and has a wonderful medieval castle; nowadays, Monte San Savino represents a real tourist attraction, due to its interesting buildings in Medieval and Renaissance style.
In the immediate vicinity there are also many other interesting places – for example: Gargonza, Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, Bagno Vignone, Monte Ginezzo as well as Florence, Perugia and Assisi.
About us
The holiday home Casa Galina was born in 2012, after a complete renovation of ancient the building of new ones.
It is managed by the owners Angelo, Luisa and Paolo, who put a vegetable garden and fresh fruit at guests’ disposal. They also offer a sort of «pizza evening party», with home-made pizza, accurately prepared according to guests’ requirements.
The owners’ aim is to let guests spend an amazing and unforgettable holiday, and that is also the reason why most of them are glad to come back again in «Casagalina» holiday home.
